Current responsibilities
I receive incoming goods, pick products for shipment, and collect goods with large trucks on certain days. I am careful to avoid mistakes in expiration dates and quantities during inspection and picking. As I frequently operate forklifts and drive trucks, I prioritize safety checks and safe driving.
Reason for joining the company
I originally worked in a dispatch role at Company A, but when the work was transferred from Company A to Muroo's Kurashiki branch, I also moved to Muroo along with the work. After that, I worked at Muroo as a temporary employee, but when my contract was about to expire, I was scouted and joined the company.

Did you experience any "gaps" after joining the company?
How has working here changed you?
Before joining the company, I didn't know much about Muroo and thought it was a company mainly delivering in the Chugoku region, so I was surprised to learn after joining that it's a large, nationwide company. As I actually started working, I realized the many connections Muroo has with various companies across Japan, and I was able to truly appreciate its scale.
What is particularly important at work
What have you started to feel?
The most important things are reporting, contacting, and consulting. If anything comes up, sharing information among employees through reporting, contacting, and consulting allows us to work on tasks and be prepared to handle any irregular situations, so I strongly feel its importance.

What moment is it?
This happened when I went shopping at a store that usually receives frozen foods and ice cream deliveries. I saw other customers putting frozen foods and ice cream in their carts and heading to the register. It made me realize that I, too, am involved in food logistics, where the products I deliver reach customers and are consumed.

Currently, I am responsible for incoming inspections and the lead position in the freezer. In the future, I aim to be promoted to a management position where I can be involved in a wider variety of tasks than I am currently undertaking, oversee the entire branch, and contribute to profitability.
